How to Join

Joining Metrum Community Credit Union is easy.
Simply follow the step-by-step instructions and you’ll be on your way to joining a financial family where you’re not just another number, you’re a member-owner. If you have any questions about the process or information requested, please contact our Member Service Department at 303-770-4468.

Once you have completed the needed forms, you may deliver them in person to one of our branches, via mail to one of our branches, or by scanning and sending the documents by email. Our address and contact numbers are listed by clicking the Contact Us link at the top of this page.

When all required documents have been received, an employee of Metrum Community Credit Union will contact you to finalize the new account opening.

To open an account with Metrum Community Credit Union, the below items are required: (you may click on any of these links to take you directly to the instructions and forms).

1. Eligibility: If you live or work in the city of Centennial, employeed by or are a member of one of one of our parnter companies or association groups, you are eligible! (Family members related by blood, marriage or adoption of any Metrum member is also eligible to join). Click here to view employer and association listings.

If your Employer or Association is not listed below, contact us to get started at 303-770-4468 ext 104.

2. Complete and print the Membership Agreement (click to access fillable PDF). Instructions to the form can be found by clicking here

3. One form of State or Government issued identification will be required for individuals 17 years and older. Acceptable forms include: Driver’s License, State issued I.D., Military I.D., or Passport. Social Security Cards may be used for ages 16 and under.

4. Overdraft Fee Consent Form: We are required to obtain your understanding and consent to our overdraft practices. Please print, read the document in its entirety, print your name, and sign on the Signature line.

5. Consent to Release Financial Information: Signing this document will allow MCCU to contact local law enforcement agencies should we feel that you are being financially exploited (someone is manipulating you to make financial decisions for that person’s profit or advantage). Please read the document in its entirety and completed the areas required at the bottom of page 2.

6. $25.00 opening balance for the Share Account: This deposit can be made via mail, direct deposit or direct delivery to one of our branches.

7. Make the Move to Metrum Credit Union. This easy to use guide can help you track your way to switching your account over to Metrum. It includes a tracking page and generic forms to switch your direct deposit, and other automatic deposits and payments.
