Member Service Representative
We are looking for a Member Service Representative with excellent member service skills to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be the “frontline” of our credit union and will play a fundamental role in achieving our member satisfaction and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of transactions daily, communicate with different types of members and sell credit union products/services.
Responsibilities:
- Assists members with their financial transactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments
- Performs advanced transactions including opening/closing various accounts, manages wires, solves card issues, notary and other ancillary services
- Welcomes and provides members routine information concerning products and services and directs members to appropriate departments
- Cross-sells credit union services
- Go the “extra mile” to build trust relationships, member loyalty and satisfaction
- Comply with regulatory requirements
- Manage risk in every transaction and detect fraudulent transactions to prevent losses
- Resolve members’ issues and provide relevant information
