John Barton Memorial Scholarship – Open for 2025 High School Graduates
We’re pleased to announce that the John Barton Memorial Scholarship is open for applications to support 2025 High School Graduates! This $1,000 scholarship was created to support graduating high school seniors who are members of Metrum Community Credit Union — and we’re extending the opportunity to ensure it fulfills its mission.
About the Scholarship
John Barton was a dedicated credit union volunteer for both Norgren Employees Federal Credit Union and Metrum Community Credit Union since at least 2004. A proud graduate of Arapahoe High School and a longtime resident of the Littleton/Centennial area, Mr. Barton believed in the power of community and education. This scholarship in his name is a reflection of that spirit.
- Award: $1,000
- Eligibility: Must be a 2025 high school graduate and a member of Metrum Community Credit Union (must have an account in your own name as of 6/30/25).
- Application Deadline: July 31, 2025
