Welcome to our IRAs FAQ! The Credit Union’s IRA program allows you to lock your retirement funds into a higher rate for a specific term. The most frequently asked questions we get about our IRAs pertain to our account features. See below for features and benefits.

Check Rates

IRA Share Account Features

IRA shares can accept deposits throughout the year, with the same rules that apply to all IRAs.
Low minimum balance to open account $100.
Interest is paid quarterly.
Pays a progressively higher rate on increasing balances.
Federally insured to at least $250,000 by the NCUA.

IRA Certificate Features

IRA Certificate terms range from one to five years.
Minimum balance of $1,000.
Interest is paid quarterly.
Jumbo rates may be available for over $10,000 and $25,000 in IRA Certificates.
Federally insured to at least $250,000 by the NCUA.
